Speaker’s Bureau

YFC staff are not just called to the ministry of YFC, but also to the ministry of the local church. It is our desire to serve the community at large by providing speakers for banquets, camps, conferences, or other gatherings.   • Fred Douglas

    Fred is a 37 year veteran in the field of youth and family ministry. He’s a graduate of Warner Pacific College and an ordained minister associated with the Church of God Anderson where he served three years as a Youth Pastor.

    For the past 34 years he has served in the work of Youth for Christ as a Club Director, Area Director, Ministry Coordinator and Executive Director. Fred also spent nine years as a member of YFC National Board. He currently is involved at the National level of YFC in several capacities.

    As a speaker, Fred is called upon by many organizations, business groups, Camps, Conferences, and retreat centers. He speaks to a wide variety of audiences ranging from adults to elementary students.

    Fred is available to speak at school assemblies, camps, retreats banquets and business meetings. Fred also preaches for many pastors and congregations and trains groups in 3Story Evangelism. Fred is married and has two teenage sons.

  • Sara Gessner

    Sara has been involved with youth ministry for the past six years. She graduated Multnomah University with a Bachelors in Biblical Studies and Youth Ministry. Her Masters is in the area of Christian Formation with an emphasis of all ages. Sara interned for four years with two churches before being led to Youth for Christ. She has worked with both Jr. High and High School students.

    Sara is available to speak at camps, retreats, and assemblies to all ages from children to adults. She enjoys good movies, good books, and good music.

     

  • Bruce Ruffin, Jr.

    Bruce's interest is in teaching and training youth in areas of leadership and spiritual gifts. He is also a certified teacher of 3Story Evangelism and training churches on how  to do outreach ministry in today's culture. Bruce is married and has one son.
